Jeff Bass

I have spent most of my life in the North Dallas area, growing up in Carrollton, and I have lived in Garland since 2008. My wife, Heather, and I have been married since 2004, and we have one son, Preston, who was born in 2008.

Heather is a family practice physician with Baylor Scott & White in McKinney. Preston attends the International Leadership of Texas school in Garland. I attended Brookhaven College and the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). Currently, I own Remodel Contracting, a company specializing in residential, commercial, and roofing construction. In addition to this, I have owned multiple restaurants, and my career experience spans mortgage banking, operations management, and managing multiple residential investment properties.

Owning my own business has been a great blessing. It has provided me opportunities for growth and taught me the importance of stewardship. I am passionate about being part of the Garland community, and the city’s vibrant citizens make it a joy to stay engaged.

I look forward to working more closely with our community by representing District 1 on City Council. It is my passion for service that drives me to seek greater involvement.
